T R Johnston Scholarship 2025
About
The T R Johnston Scholarship 2025-2026 at the University of Auckland is a merit-based award established in 1981 by Emeritus Professor T R Johnston to recognize and reward academic excellence in Accounting. It supports students enrolled full-time in a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) [BCom(Hons)] or Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting who achieved the highest grade point average (GPA) in Stage III Accounting courses in the preceding year. The scholarship provides up to NZD 500 to assist with educational expenses. The University of Auckland, New Zealand’s highest-ranked university (81st in QS World University Rankings 2025), enrolls over 43,000 students across eight faculties, with a strong reputation in business and accounting.
